BlueBet leaves Indiana sports betting market

Australian-listed online wagering provider BlueBet announced a significant change in its US operations. The company terminated its partnership with Horseshoe Hammond, LLC, the casino in Hammond, Indiana, effective 30 June 2024. This decision followed a thorough review and represented a shift in focus towards other markets.

Mutual decision

The termination of the partnership was mutually agreed upon by both parties. BlueBet will now concentrate on its business-to-consumer markets in Colorado, Louisiana, and Iowa, where it has seen significant opportunities for growth and success.

Commitment to service

Despite exiting the Indiana betting market, BlueBet assured stakeholders it would continue offering its sportsbook-as-a-solution. This showed the company’s commitment to maintaining its service standards and providing a seamless experience for its customers. By enhancing its services, BlueBet aimed to not only keep its existing customer base but also attract new users in its target markets.

Looking ahead, BlueBet has made ambitious plans for its future. By ending the partnership with Horseshoe Hammond, LLC, the company plans to direct its resources and energy into delivering exceptional service to customers in other regions and focusing on areas with substantial growth potential and favourable business environment. This strategic reallocation of resources showed BlueBet’s consistency in its market strategy of entering promising betting markets while avoiding very competitive states.
