La Fran?aise des Jeux (FDJ), the leading operator of gambling and lottery games in France, announced the signing of an agreement with Betsson Group for the sale of its UK subsidiary, Sporting Solutions Services Limited.

This sale of Sporting Solutions to Betsson aligns with FDJ‘s strategic goal to re-focus on the B2C (business to consumer) and B2B2C (business to business to consumer) segments within lottery, sports betting, and other online gaming markets. The sold subsidiary, Sporting Solutions Services Limited, specialises in pricing and risk management for betting operators. However, FDJ will retain its broader betting operation service contracts that it manages for various lotteries.
Betsson: Developing its sports betting activities
By integrating FDJ’s Sporting Solutions, Betsson, that operates in the online sports betting and gambling sector, will strengthen its B2B offering. The operator will benefit from Sporting Solutions’ technological platforms, customer portfolio, and expertise in pricing and risk management—key skills for developing its sports betting activities.
