Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has entered the Asian market for the first time through a strategic agreement with Bloomberry Resorts. This partnership provides Bloomberry’s flagship brand, Solaire Resorts, with access to a suite of cutting-edge tools and solutions from GiG, aiming to elevate its online and on-site gaming experiences. With this deal, GiG aims to strengthens its presence in the rapidly growing Asian iGaming sector.
Entering the Asian market with Solaire resorts
Bloomberry Resorts, the owner of Solaire Resort Entertainment City in Metro Manila, Solaire Resort North, and Solaire Online, will now leverage GiG’s advanced technologies to enhance their gaming platforms. The agreement grants Solaire Resorts access to GiG’s CoreX iGaming platform and AI-driven tools, DataX and LogicX, which are designed to support better decision-making and improve rule-building across gaming operations. This new suite of features is expected to boost Solaire’s competitive edge in the Asian market.
Richard Carter, CEO of Gaming Innovation Group while talking about the collaboration said, “This is a landmark moment for GiG as we enter the Asian iGaming market for the first time and continue to deliver on our strategic objectives, enlarging our total addressable market.
“Our experience in delivering cutting-edge iGaming solutions in evolving regulatory environments, together with Bloomberry’s established market presence, means GiG is poised to take full advantage of the region’s growing online gaming sector.”
GiG’s global expansion journey
This entry into Asia builds on GiG’s recent moves in other regulated markets. Earlier in the year, GiG strengthened its footprint in the UK by partnering with Betzone and The Football Pools, further expanding its market reach. Its CoreX platform and AI tools are designed to help partners meet evolving compliance requirements while enhancing operational efficiency.
Philippine iGaming sector
The timing of GiG’s entrance into the Philippines comes amid a shifting regulatory landscape. Recently, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. announced a nationwide ban on Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs). This policy change reflects ongoing concerns about the impact of offshore operators on the local economy and security. However, domestic gaming operations, such as those led by Bloomberry, remain unaffected and continue to thrive under local regulations.
