MGM Resorts welcomes Dana Reynolds as Director of Brand Marketing for The Cosmopolitan

MGM Resorts has announced the appointment of Dana Reynolds as the Director of Brand Marketing, marking a significant addition to the leadership team overseeing The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Reynolds, known for her notable contributions in similar roles at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, as well as Luxor Hotel & Casino, brings a wealth of experience to the renowned casino resort situated on the vibrant Las Vegas Strip.

The Cosmopolitan, inaugurated on December 15, 2010, at a cost of US$ 3.9 billion, has been an integral part of the iconic skyline and entertainment landscape of Paradise, Nevada. Acquired by MGM Resorts in 2022, the property boasts two hotel towers offering over 3,000 rooms, studios, and suites. With a sprawling gaming floor featuring 1,300+ slot machines, including high-denomination options up to US$ 500, The Cosmopolitan continues to be a premier destination for entertainment and hospitality.

Reynolds, expressing her enthusiasm for the new role, stated, “New year, new beginnings. 2024 starts with a new chapter at MGM Resorts, leading brand marketing for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Being thankful is an understatement for my time with Mandalay Bay and Luxor. My entry into hospitality was met with learning from the best in the business.”

Enhancing guest experience

Before her tenure at MGM Resorts, Reynolds played a pivotal role at Aristocrat, where she began her journey in 2011 as the Manager of Marketing Communications. Her dedication and expertise led to successive promotions, ultimately reaching the position of Senior Director within the company.

This strategic move by MGM Resorts underscores its commitment to enhancing the guest experience at The Cosmopolitan and further solidifying its position as a leading destination on the Las Vegas Strip. As Reynolds takes the helm of brand marketing, her extensive background in the industry is poised to contribute to the continued success and evolution of this iconic property.

In related news, the Culinary and Bartenders Union in Las Vegas has set the deadline for an upcoming strike scheduled for February, adding a layer of complexity to the dynamics of the city’s hospitality sector.
