November saw Pennsylvania break records in sports betting and online gambling revenues
The recorded revenue for sports betting and online gambling were still overshadowed by the decline of land-based revenue which resulted in a year-on-year drop in the monthly total for November.
The total recorded revenue for the month reached the total of $283.3m, which is down by nearly 3% (2.7%) when compared to 2019 of the same month. For the year of 2019, revenue amounted to the sum of $292.1 million.
Despite this decline, sports betting performed well with a recorded revenue of $37.4million, eclipsing the previous record of October ($36.8m). Out of the record breaking $37.4million recorded, $31.2million was in relation to online sports betting with retail betting making up the rest of the amount.
However, during the month of November, players spent $491.9m on sports betting which is a decline when compared to the month of October of the same year ($525.8m).
