Excitement beckons at Molineux!

Wolves host West Ham at Molineux this Saturday afternoon with just three points separating the sides in the Premier League table.

We could well be treated to some goals in this one, with Gary O’Neil’s side having scored in 13 of their 14 home league games so far this term yet conceded in 11 of these 14 matches.

Similarly, The Hammers have scored in 12 of their 15 Premier League games away from home but have only kept 1 clean sheet on the road so both sides certainly don’t seem to have issues finding the net but are also vulnerable at the other end.

The graphic below shows Wolves ranked 5^th for the number of times both teams to score has occurred in their home games and West Ham with the 3^rd highest percentage of times this has happened in away fixtures.

Clean sheets have also been difficult to come by for both sides, with both Wolves and West Ham keeping just 5 clean sheets each from their respective matches so far this campaign.

O’Neil’s men have just 3 clean sheets from their 14 home games and for David Moyes’ side it’s 1 clean sheet from 15 fixtures on the road.

Unibet are offering 1.80 on both teams to score and with 10 of Wolves’ 14 home games yielding this outcome coupled with 11 of West Ham’s 15 away games it would be difficult to argue against this paying off.

Another market of interest is Jarrod Bowen to score anytime at 3.10 with Unibet.

Bowen has been in brilliant form this campaign and is The Hammers top scorer with 19 goals in all competitions, with 15 of these coming in the Premier League.

Bowen is the joint 5^th top scorer in the league and has bagged 4 goals in his last 6 Premier League games and is at the heart of West Ham’s attacking play.

The forward scored in the reverse fixture at the London Stadium back in December and looks good value to notch another goal in an already impressive campaign.

The final area of intrigue is for more goals to be scored in the 2^nd half of the match, with Betfair offering 2.10 on this coming to fruition.

O’Neil’s men have scored the majority of their goals in the 2^nd half of matches, with 64% of their goals at Molineux coming in the 2^nd half. They have also conceded more goals in the 2^nd half of games at home, with 57% of their goals conceded happening after the interval.

As for Moyes’ West Ham the statistics are even higher, with The Hammers scoring 67% of their goals on the road in the 2^nd half yet conceding 87% of their total goals during this half also.

Given these statistics, it looks very promising there could indeed be more goals after the half-time break in this clash.
